Broadcast STL $999

The low cost STL is for use on the shared services
2.4ghz band. This band does not require a license as it is a shared band.. The STL features 4 selectable channels in the band and a
variety of different antennas for performance requirements. All items are sold
separately and do not need to be purchased in pairs.
The STL can be used for AM, FM, or TV
broadcasters as a permanent or temporary link with both video and stereo audio
inputs to the transmitter and from the receiver battery pack is
provided for the transmitter for portable applications. Both the receiver and
transmitter operate from a 12 volt 500ma power source. Optional power supplies
include a 240V AC to 12 V
DC approved
plug pack and a 12V car cigarette lighter cable for mobile operations.
Transmitter
The transmitter is 105mm x 60mm x 30mm and weighs
175grams.
RF output is 30mw via a F
Type connector, inputs are RCA sockets for video and stereo audio
in. A 4 position frequency switch is provided for the fully PLL transmitter
exciter. Modulation method is FM for video and audio.
The transmitter has a standard DC adapter input socket for power, and on - off
switch and power indicator led. . Audio input to the transmitter is 1 V p-p
unbalanced into a 600R terminating load, the video input is 1.4 V p-p including
blanking, or 1 V p-p video into a 75R terminating load
Receiver
The Receiver is 150mm x 115mm x 50mm and weighs 330
grams. The receiver-input sensitivity is -85dbm.
Antenna input is via a F Type
connector, output sockets are RCA for video and stereo audio.
A 4 channel frequency switch for the fully PLL receiver allows for easy
changing of channels. Demodulation method is FM for video and audio.
The transmitter has a standard DC adapter input socket for power, and an on -

Antenna's

The antenna (as supplied in the special kit) is the
25dbi gain Hill's REF 27 which with the 30mw transmitter output gives an ERP of
around 600MW which is still inside the legal maximum limit. A
pair of these antennas have been tested line of sight to operate up to a
18KM range.
Long haul transmitter
An optional long haul
transmitter is available which provides an extended range of up to 30kms, the additional cost is $699. The transmitter is mono
